Paper

Photographic paper is a specially coated material designed to produce high-quality images with superior color accuracy, detail, and longevity. Unlike standard printing paper, photo paper features a light-sensitive or ink-receptive coating that enhances vibrancy, contrast, and durability.

In professional printing, the choice of paper significantly impacts the final presentation. The surface finish, paper weight, and archival qualities determine how a print looks and feels. Below are the primary types of photographic paper we offer:

Each of these paper types is carefully selected to ensure the highest standards of print quality and longevity. Whether you're looking for a bold, glossy finish or a subtle fine art texture, we offer the perfect medium to bring your images to life.

Glossy Paper

Glossy photo paper has a highly reflective surface that enhances color saturation and sharpness. It is ideal for vibrant images with deep blacks and striking contrast, making it a popular choice for high-impact photography. However, its reflective finish can show fingerprints and glare under strong lighting.

Our preferred choice:
Canon Platinum Pro (300gsm)

Luster (Semi-Gloss or Pearl) Paper

Luster paper strikes a balance between glossy and matte finishes. It provides rich colors and excellent detail while reducing glare and fingerprints. This finish is a favorite among professional photographers for portrait and wedding prints due to its durability and elegant texture.

Our preferred choice:
Canon Pro Luster (260gsm)

Matte Paper

Matte paper features a non-reflective surface that softens colors and minimizes glare, making it ideal for fine art prints, black-and-white photography, and images with subtle tonal transitions. It has a more subdued appearance but offers excellent detail retention.

Our preferred choice:
Canon Premium Matte (210gsm)

Fine Art & Cotton Rag Paper

Fine art papers, typically made from 100% cotton or alpha-cellulose, are designed for museum-quality prints. These archival-grade papers offer deep color reproduction, superior longevity, and a luxurious texture. They are preferred for gallery prints, limited editions, and artistic photography.

Metallic Paper

Metallic photo paper features a unique pearlescent sheen that gives images a three-dimensional quality with ultra-rich blacks and high contrast. It is perfect for dramatic landscapes, high-fashion portraits, and commercial work where a striking visual impact is desired.
